We would like to express our deep gratitude to the cardiac surgery department of the Pirogov Clinic on Fontanka (St. Petersburg State University). According to the diagnosis, my father had multivessel coronary artery disease, progressing heart failure, and a high risk of complications from ischemic heart disease. The clinic organized hospitalization in the shortest possible time and performed open-heart and thoracic aorta surgery (CABG). Thanks to the highly qualified doctors, the operation and the initial recovery period in the hospital were successful. We would like to thank the group of doctors who worked directly with my father, especially the operating cardiac surgeon Ruslan Yusufovich Kappushev. Despite his busy schedule, he found time for a personal conversation and explained everything clearly regarding my father’s recovery.
