I am impressed by cardiac surgeon Gleb Irlamovich. I first met him at the N.I. Pirogov Clinic of High Medical Technologies, where I was referred for open-heart surgery! While preparing for the operation, I read Gleb Irlamovich’s book “Heart Surgery: A Patient’s Guide”, which describes in detail the process of coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve replacement, and postoperative rehabilitation.
