I underwent examination at the Pirogov Clinic on February 9 and 10, 2026, for atrial fibrillation. Vasily Vasilyevich was my attending physician. He is polite, attentive, and patient. He explained both the examination itself and the subsequent treatment plan, diet, and lifestyle in a clear and understandable way. I rate the doctor’s attitude toward the patient as excellent.

I was urgently hospitalized for aortic valve replacement and was assigned Dr. V.V. Balakhonov as my attending physician. He is a true professional who provided qualified medical care. During consultations, he was very tactful. After the operation, he visited me daily, giving advice on how to recover faster. Upon discharge, he clearly and thoroughly explained my further treatment plan and medication regimen.

In August 2025, I had an appointment with the doctor regarding angina. The doctor recommended surgical intervention. He was attentive, appropriately serious, and competent. He inspired trust, and I decided to go ahead with the operation. On the day of my hospitalization, I requested for Vasily Vasilyevich to be my attending physician. He explained everything, told me about the surgery plan and further treatment. During all the days I spent in the clinic, I felt the doctor’s care and attention. Thank you to all the clinic staff and to my doctor, Dr. V. V. Balakhonov. Strength, health, prosperity, and well-being in everything. A true doctor and a true human being! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to cardiac surgeon Dr. V. V. Balakhonov for saving my life! He was both the assisting surgeon and my attending physician. It all began with blood pressure problems. After a heart ultrasound, I heard terrifying words: “You need surgery.” I was very scared, but the doctor was able to instill such confidence and calmness that all doubts disappeared. His calm tone, clear explanations, and sincere desire to help created an incredible sense of trust. What I liked: The operation was successful — a new valve was implanted, and an aneurysm was removed. I also want to thank the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, and the entire medical team.
